| I have a feeling that most people on this forum will be C (and possibly c++) ... |

| Well, there are a lot of Py and C# GTK+ developers too. Hopefully as this forum grows, we'll see this reflected in this poll. I'm a C guy myself-- but have dabbled with Mono. |

Personally I use "C" but I just knew about PyGTK... so probably in future this will be my choice. I am still learning about the benefits of using of PyGTK.
As I can see it will be useful in large projects where "C" is difficult to be used. |

| I have programmed only in C for GTK+ applications but i have a thinking that programming in C++ will surely better the design and the data flow. |

| Besides ... if you don't want to use C, just use one of the many wrappers available for GTK+! |

Well, what you have to understand is that this forum is just starting to pick up. For quite a while, there were only two of us answering questions, and we are not just sitting around waiting for people to ask questions. Forums take time to grow. They are about helping other people grow in their understanding, so that those people can help others in the future.
As for other forums, there really aren't any. You are, of course, always free to post on the GTK+ mailing list.
Just try and understand that the people that answer your questions here are doing it because they want to help out, but it is not something we have to do. Therefore, while we will always try and help in a timely manner, you should not _expect_ that from anyone. That goes for any forum or mailing list ... |
