I know that GNOME allows you to set your default application, desktop, window title and terminal fonts. Is there a way to get those or does anyone know where that information is stored that I could retrieve it? Thanks for the help!

I don't know the answer to this... however... I have some thoughts. First off, I would imagine this could somehow be accessed via gnome-config. Secondly, find out the name of the utility which gnome uses to manage these settings. Then download the source for that project and you'll be able to find out where that information is being saved to/read from.

The program in question is called "gnome-font-properties". But I forgot in which tarball this is usually shipped in.
Best regards...

I found it, it just uses GConf, so I am actually planning on just moving all of my settings to that. Also, I found gnome-font-properties in the control-center package...
