Hey,

Does anybody know how to disable menu / toolbar items?

For example, if there is no text within a textview, how do you disable "Select All" or "Cut".

Thanks a million :)

Happy st patricks day!!!!!

It's somewhat tedious to learn at first, but look into the GtkActionGroup http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stable/GtkActionGroup.html object.

Also, you can use gtk_widget_set_sensitive () on individual widgets.
