For developers looking to get started using Cairo and GTK, and would like one more example. I created a linegraph widget using cairo for the drawing. I thought it might be useful to someone else.

glinegraph-cairo is a sub-package to gapcmon.sf.net. Please choose the package 'glinegraphj' from the download menu.

I must say it is very easy to use. Have been playing it for couple days... do you have an update to that? The minor_scale seems to just allow 0, not negative numbers.

No, I have no updates. There is another package I support 'giw.sourceforge.net' it has a xy chart that does support negative numbers. Or you can try your hand at modifing the code to support negative numbers.

negative scale: Tell me your whole set of desired changes and I will consider how long it would take me to make those changes - but I need the whole picture.

James,

Thanks for the quick reply! I took your advice and modified it to support negative numbers. I think I'm quite happy with it now.

Thanks for sharing the widget!

Great, so now send me your updates and I will try to incorporate them into the package - giving you credit for the contribution of course.
