 Post subject: regarding window

hi every one.
i got a problem while moving window from
one corner.i written the code like this

gtk_window_move (GTK_WINDOW(window1),850,640);

from this code the window is just showing.
but i would like to move the window from down to top.

that is
gtk_window_move (GTK_WINDOW(window1),850,600);

gtk_window_move (GTK_WINDOW(window1),850,620);

gtk_window_move (GTK_WINDOW(window1),850,640);

like this slowly
i hope you are understand my problem
can u please show me the way to get this

If I understand your problem, I would recommend a simple loop that calls gtk_window_move() repeatedly, placing a short sleep call in between each. You also might want to use a loop to process all pending events before continuing on to the next call so that you make sure it is completely rendered the whole move.

However, you should know that the function you are using is a _hint_ and may not be honored by all window managers. In that case, you would have to fall back on X.
