I'm wondering if there is a way I could retrieve bit information of a character font drawed with Pango.

For example:
I will use Pango to draw a character in a say, gtkdrawing area (no antialiased needed, even better if only black and white).
Then I could analize the draw in order to extract values of each pixel and build a row byte value:

Code:
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x60,0x00,  /*  .##.............  */
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x00,0x00,  /*  ................  */
0x00,0x00   /*  ................  */

Is this easyly possible?
