Hey everyone, first post. :D

I'm new to GTK+ and software development in general. As the title suggests I'm using PHP-GTK as a binding. So, what I'm trying to do is build an app that loads multiple browsers in multiple windows. I got through to the point where I can do it with images, but I don't know what class I could use for exe files (or if it's even possible).

Any thoughts?

I don't really understand what you're trying to do, could you post a screenshot of the version with images?

What I want to do, instead of images, is get applications set up like that.

Any ideas?

so you want to put widgets in the table, or dynamically load a program?
if you want to dynamically load a program, the closest things I can think of are GtkBuilder and GtkUIManager:
C:
http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stab ... ilder.html
http://library.gnome.org/devel/gtk/stab ... nager.html
PHP:
http://gtk.php.net/manual/en/gtk.gtkuimanager.php
however, I don't think that PHP-Gtk supports GtkBuilder yet,
so that narrows it down to GtkUIManager, which there's a tutorial for here:
http://live.gnome.org/GnomeLove/UIManagerTutorial
the tutorial is for C, but it still should help

PHP-GTK supports Glade which you can use.

Here are 2 great reference websites for php-gtk:
