HI All
I have searched on this forum and who knows how many hours on goggle.
I have a .lang file that works just fine. Everything that is supposed to be high lighted is.
So what is my problem?

The programming language is BaCon and BaCon expects all keywords and functions to
be typed in Uppercase. What I would like to do is to update the Bacon.lang so that keywords
could be typed in lowercase and be automatically changed into uppercase.
For example:

If the users types
the above PRINT word is highlighted correctly. If the user types
the above print word is not highlighted and its case is not changed to uppercase.

Yes for testing purposes I have added the following line to the bacon.lang file
When the above line is added as expected typing print causes the word print
to be high lighted. I tried all diffrent combinations of the above print keyword statement.
Some had no effect others gave errors when startting the BaCon editor via the

So is there anyway to not only have highlighting but also to be able to change the case
of keywords using gtksourceview and the accompying .lang files?

Thank you for your time in reading this post
Best Regards

Edit changed subject so it is now a question
