Does anyone Know where I can read any documentation to access to this little entry?

Thank you very much.

you can try installing devhelp - gnome development helper
if you don't find what your looking for in the contents you may have to install the -dev or -doc portion of the package that you need help with
I use it all the time for glib gtk2 gtk3 cairo atk etc...

apt-get install devhelp
or
ubuntu software center

See:
http://www.gtk.org/documentation.php
http://scentric.net/tutorial/treeview-tutorial.html
https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/unstable/TreeWidget.html

With a quick search in devhelp, I've found gtk_tree_view_set_search_equal_func(), it's probably what you want.
