 Post subject: Long popovers get cut off with small windows

GTK (>= 3.12) popovers seem to be contained within the parent window, so if the program's window is small, a large popover – e.g. GtkVolumeButton volume pops up control – gets cut off (see screenshot).

In example from screenshot the main window of application is not resizable by design. I want a guidance to correct it, keeping design application.
Maybe to override the preferred position for gtkvolumebutton popover to apper horizontal, if this is possible.

You can also create a GtkWindow without border decorations.
But yes, it's normal that the popover is not displayed outside the main window. It'll be fixed with Wayland normally.
