hi everyone.....

i recently created an "email submission form" using GTK+
but is there any method or steps to convert this into a CUSTOM WIDGET...

Hi.

There is a way, but unfortunately you'll have to walk it (no driving for you;). But creating a composite widget is pretty simple.

dreblen also wrote a helper application called GClassGen which can help you create all that boiler plate code needed for every gtk widget.

well i was reading CHAPTER 11 from FOUNDATIONS OF GTK+ by ANDREW KRAUSE..... and its tough!!!

well i am looking for a better step-wise guide (or tutorial) for creating CUSTOM WIDGETs...

i think i need to study more... :shock:
