 Post subject: Skew GTK window

I'd like to make an application that when application window is projected on a white ball the elements displayed to be proportional. This mean that the original picture should be modified so when the light from the projector falls on to the white ball the "created" picture is proportional.
Since I'm very new to GTK, I'd like to get opinions how to achieve this from the experts prior i try anything.

GTK uses gdk or cairo for rendering. Each of these are only designed to handle linear transformation matrices. In order to do nonlinear transformations such as your case you will have to go beyond what GTK is capable of on its own. opengl is likely able to handle this sort of thing and there's compatability within gtk to use opengl.
