Unfortunately, while the documentation for GTK+ 2 gives a description on how to configure a binding set and entry, it does not give any information on how to actually use it within the application. Could someone help me out here? I've got the binding set configured with the entry that I want, but I just can't figure out how to connect it to a widget.

EDIT: It looks like it may have already been answered here:

http://www.gtkforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7767 (this link is invalid, see reply for more info [tadeboro])

But the topic appears to have been locked? Is that what had happened? If so, would it be possible to at least get that unlocked?

Hello.

Hmm, looks like the original author deleted all the relevant content from that topic and all that was left is admin message about some duplicated material. I'll delete that topic since it's completely useless.

As for the usage of bindings, all you need to do is write a gtkrc/CSS-like file that defines the bindings (gtkrc for GTK+-2.0, CSS-like for GTK+3.0) and place it into proper location. It's been a while since I last touched/looked at that part of GTK+ code, so cannot help you with more precise instructions.

Cheers,
Tadej
