Hi all,

This is my first post here!

I'm working in linux with gtk/gdk (over X11) and I need to get/set the window z-order...I've searched in the gtkwindow, gtkwidget documentation but with no clues.

Currently I'm using the gdk_window_raise and gdk_window_lower to move the window on top or in the background but I also need to move it in an intermediate position and to get it's depth (z-order)...

Please can you help me?

Thank you.

Shab

The only functions I know of to work with this type of thing are the two you mentioned in addition to gtk_window_list_toplevels(), gtk_window_set_keep_above(), and gtk_window_set_keep_below(), which can be used with gtk_window_set_transient_for() to create an order.
