Recently, I had the opportunity to observe my GTK application running remotely via ssh (on another Linux workstation)... I noticed that the positions of the many of the widgets were off to the point where some even overlapped.

Any known suggestions or solutions with this issue?

how are they layed out? Are they packed in boxes or using fixed positioning such as GtkAlignment?

I used fixed positioning... which I suspect is probably the issue. Because I specified the positioning, perhaps when rendered via ssh, the widget are somehow larger creating the overlap???
