I am exclusive "C" programmer as my field is embedded systems and hence wish had more "C" tutorial. We all would like the world to follow one language rather than bombarding with 100s of them. I like using pthreads, mutexes, semaphores, openmp, message queues.

IMO, Vala is C#ish version of glib

I'm also using Vala, but I'm only a beginner(aka. N00b).
Vala seems to be a perfect language. Too bad I donno C and Vala has no good IDE yet... But I know it's promising.
Vala is the best language for developing GTK+ programs, so much easier than C with GObject.

C everytime! GTK+ with C takes less memory and less space.

I am coding in C, but hopefully I will generate it from some higher-level formalism.
Generating C code from a higher-level language is doable, even if the generated C code needs to fit to a huge legacy API; as my work on GCC MELT demonstrates. MELT is a lispy domain specific language (translated to C) to work on GCC internals and enable easy development of specific extensions into the GCC compiler.

I would also like to point to Ocaml with LablGtk. It is a pity that this solution is not available in the poll.

Ocaml is a very nice language, with type inference in the language, and efficient compiler implementation. Lablgtk is a binding for Ocaml of Gtk2.

I prefer C++ but I'm currently having a problem creating a vector of widgets. :(

I vote for python, since it's easy and great for rapid development. But what's not good with python is that it spoiled you. I should get back to writing in C.

I like OOP, so I like Java. It is clean, easy to read, and no exe suffix :) (like C#). Unfortunately, looks like it's still under development.

Maybe it should be three "subfolders" in GTK+ Programming and Discussion.
C
C++
Python

That would make it easier to read and find information about what's interest you. :)
