 Post subject: check CFLAGS/LDFLAGS

Dear all,
Here I am working on Gtk+ environment.
I am trying to create SNMP C++ GUI application.

if I am trying to configure my project, here I am getting errors as follows:
Can you help me in this regard..

***************************************
checking for main in -lglib... no
checking for gdk_init in -lgdk... no
checking for main in -lm... yes
checking for gtk_init in -lgtk... no
checking for gtk >= 0.99.4... no
configure: error: Cannot include/link gtk/gdk/glib -- check CFLAGS/LDFLAGS

Do you have the development libraries of GTK+ included as well? What distro are you using?

Hi,
Here I was installed Gtk+ libraries from SuSE linux 10.1.

Do you have the libraries like gtk+-devel and glib-devel installed? Also, do you have pkg-config installed?

Still sounds like GTK+ 2 is not installed. I don't use SUSE, however, I believe the package (and dependencies) you need installed on SUSE is "gtk2-devel". Try running the command:

rpm -q gtk2-devel
