Hi I have a simple one

Can I create an artificial keypress from code i.e. I want the computer to receive a keypress of "t" without me having to press the actual key on my keyboard? Example code would be appreciated.

Why? because I have a GTK-VTK app which requires a "t" press before I can manipulate the object in drawing area

Thanks

I dont know but I suppose that you can emit some GDkevent for that, have a look at GdkEvent API for more details
