i tried to design the window in Glade, it shows "Widgets of type Window need placeholders to add children." but i don't know how to put these into placeholder as i could not able to see any icon related to placeholder or any other approach will be great help for me.

Thanks

try putting a grid into the window, and then the widgets in the grid.
