Does anyone having idea how to create a 'Ctrl' key press event happened in gtk by using a command? something like gtk_signal_emit_by_name??

I don't remember howto do it, but I do have a reference you might be able to go off of. Attach an accelerator in glade and have it generate the C code for you. Read the code and you should be good to go!

This isn't the function you want, but it helps explain the control key: http://www.gtk.org/api/2.6/gdk/gdk-Keyb ... oard-state

Control is not a "key-press-event" because it is actually considered a masking key in GTK+.
