Hi there,

i have a question about the event mask of a gtkwidget. When i create the widget e.g
Code:
GtkWidget *btn ) gtk_button_new_with_label("Hello");

and than check the event mask for that button with
Code:
gint mask = gtk_widget_get_events(btn);

it always returns 0.

Can anyone tell me why this is so, and how i can fix it?

Every help is appricated

Hi

I'm a beginner and I have never used this function.

In the GTK Tutorial it's written that:
Quote:
We call gtk_widget_get_events() to retrieve the event mask that the user has
specified for this widget (with gtk_widget_set_events()), and add the events
that we are interested in ourselves.

I hope that this can help you.

(Sorry, don't speak English)

Ok,

now i get it. In the docs there is nothing about that it only retrieves the users extra flags.

Thanks a lot.
