I searched my computer /usr/include for cairocontext ignoring case. As you know, there were no hits. I haven't gotten to the point of actually drawing anything yet, however
gboolean user_function(GtkWidget*widget,cairo_t*cr,gpointer user_data)
compiles without complaint and I suspect is correct.

Would you like to grant me permission to fix broken links and errors---you'd also have to tell me which files are top-level for change---or report them as I find them?

gtk3 links to gdk and other places outside of gtk3 are at least sometimes broken, I haven't maintained a list.

When I use the "search" feature (near top right corner of doc pages) google (or a google program) often reports "your computer is spamming me".

Also, for this rosetta code hexagons project, I would think we could write an xml description and then all languages with gtk interface could use it. I haven't figured out how to write that sort of nice stuff and instead have to write all this low level stuff. Thanks, Dave.

Example of a broken gtk->gdk link:

http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/stable/ ... dget-event

Now click the link within "use gdk_window_invalidate_rect() to inv"

Hi,

These have already been posted as bug reports (report 640165 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640165). Hopefully one of the developers will sort this out at some point.

I do not think that anyone here is related to the development of GTK+ so you will need to get in contact with the developers directly at http://www.gtk.org/.

Also the documentation is auto generated from the source code. A tool scans the source code for comments and function proto-types, structures, enums etc. and generate documentation from that. So there will need to be bug fixes else where, possibly in the tools to fix the link problems.
