 Post subject: how to switch between windows by closing previous window?

I have designed some screens in which by clicking the button wizard of one window i can go to the other window......but i want that by opening the new window the old window must be closed......HOW TO DO THAT????

Hello and welcome to the Gtk+ forums.

There is a special widget for creating wizard-like applications - GtkAssistant. This widget takes care of the forward/backwards navigation.

If you would rather create your own wizard from scratch, you'll have to manually call gtk_widget_show and gtk_widget_hide from your next/back button callbacks.

thanks for the support.....but can't i get the complete source code of GTKAssistant from where i can understand the use of a GTKAssistant.....
